NASCAR Sponsors Using New Technology Tools to Manage Show Cars

Showcar example

NASCAR and other motor sports sponsors are using new technology tools from Playoff Technologies to manage their show car reservations. Called Reservation Locker, the cloud-based solution enables sponsors to quickly and easily create a custom website where employees and partners can submit an online reservation request for a show car. The website provides information about the sponsor’s show car program and includes a calendar that displays the dates and events where the show car has already been scheduled. If the sponsor manages more than one show car, the cars are color-coded on the calendar.

To request a show car, the applicant fills out a custom online application with data fields designated by the sponsor. The applicant then submits the form electronically, where it is logged within Playoff Technologies’ Sponsor Locker event management system and reviewed by sponsor or agency personnel who are responsible for managing the show car.

The system sends automatic notifications that confirm receipt of the applicant’s request, notify sponsor or agency personnel when new requests have been received and notify the applicant when the request has been approved or denied.

When a request has been approved, the show car calendar on the Reservation Locker website is automatically updated to show the date and event name for the new reservation. The system maintains a record of future and past events, as well as approved, denied and pending requests.

Reservation Locker is an add-on option to Sponsor Locker, Playoff Technologies’ enterprise-grade sports sponsorship management platform that includes asset, contract and event management, as well as related analytics and task management. With its modular design and easy customization, Sponsor Locker helps sponsors and agencies of all sizes enhance the value of their sponsorship investment. Click here to learn more.
